What are the current advertising regulations for children's television?

There are different regulations depending on the age of the children being targeted. You can find the specific regulations on the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

What organisations are you affiliated with?

None. But many other organisations have similar aims. In Australia, for example, the Coalition on Food Advertising to Children specifically campaigns against junk food advertising. We support this cause, but advocate that the advertising regulation should extend to all advertising aimed at children.

How can I help?

You can send a letter to your local Member of State/Territory or Federal Parliament. You can also write directly to the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

You can also register your support in our private petition and/or contact us with your ideas for making it even easier for others.

How do I find my local member?

We have provided links to all State/Territory and Federal elected representatives. If you do not know your electorate, you can check it on the Australian Electoral Commission website search engine.
